Labor Day Mini Retreat – Atlanta Sai Center
Sairam Dear Brothers and Sisters!
What have you planned for the Labor Day weekend? Well… how about we help you out in that department? We
are having a mini retreat at our center on Sunday, September 4th 2016 for everyone to partake in and derive bliss
and peace.
The program will be as follows:
3:50-4:00 pm | Chant Sai Gayathri
4:00-4:30 pm | Baba’s video, announcements, invocation and speaker introduction
4:30-5:30 pm | Talk by Mrs. Srilatha Krishnamurthy.
Srilatha came into Swamy’s fold purely through her love for Swamy’s teachings and her love to work with children. Professionally she has taught both in Public Schools and in colleges. She is currently working as a teacher in a local private school. Srilatha has been an SSE teacher since 1998. She was SSE Center Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX for 15 years. She was also regional SSE coordinator for Region 10 from 2007-2011. She had the opportunity to lead and present a dance-musical program to Swamy in the year 2008. Working as an SSE teacher has been her greatest blessing in life from Swamy. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband.
5:30-5:50 pm | Break
5:50-6:00 pm | Bhajans and speaker introduction
6:00-7:00 pm | Talk by Mr. Neil Sharma.
Neil came to know about Sai Baba in the late 1970’s as a child. From personal experiences and time spent speaking with the Avatar during interviews, he was extremely fortunate to have close encounters. Having had the honor of serving in various capacities of the Sai Organization (SSE, Devotional, office bearer and national council member) for nearly forty years, he has been very lucky. Between the age of 17 and 33, he traveled the world speaking about the Avatar, conducting numerous workshops and presenting devotional concerts – this was all because of Swami. In 1994, Swami performed his engagement and marriage to Yamini Naidoo. He recently moved back to Atlanta with his family.
7:00-7:30 pm | Bhajans followed by Aarthi
To-go dinner boxes will be distributed after the program.
Jai Sairam!
